PRISM (Platform for Scaling Responsive Space Systems Research, Innovation & Manufacturing)

In line with the UK Space Industrial Plan, Project PRISM is a two-phase project that creates new facilities across the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS) and the Glasgow City Innovation District (GCID), linking with the SaxaVord Space Centre in Shetland. Considered critical to the growth of the Scottish space ecosystem by Space Scotland, PRISM would deliver a regional and UK platform that advances and scales the capability and responsiveness of the space and defence sectors, accelerating innovation prototyping and manufacturing from research through the Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) to fielded operational and commercial capabilities. It supports the rapid development of new hardware and enables secure R&D on data analytics and space-enabled services.
