Alba Orbital in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA), has developed a flight proven 3p PocketQube platform called Unicorn-2.

The goal of the platform is to get 3U cubesat performance on a PocketQube. The Unicorn platform's key subsystems, EPS, OBC and ADCS are all integrated into one PCB. This allows the majority of the inside volume of the satellite to be used for payload. AlbaConnect is a fully and rapidly deployable system, designed from the ground up to be autonomous, run off solar power and to connect back to mission control via an inbuilt 4G system. Alba Connect offers satellite teams the ability to communicate with their satellite up to six times per day in Polar Orbit. Alba also offers launch brokerage specialising in PocketQube.
